PJL Group Signature Series Loader production is set to be ramped up for the 2017-18 period bringing manufacturing back to Australia.
PJL Group Project Lead, Dean Jarvis, explained the R2900G Signature Series Loader was developed specifically to cater to the local market with considerable advantages in pricing and suitability to Australian conditions.
“In addition to customer requests, many features on the Signature Series rebuilds are a combination of the collective ‘in house’ intelligence of PJL Group,” Dean outlined.
“It has been, and still is, very much a case of ‘Build it and they will come’. Unhindered by the restrictions of traditional OEM structures, PJL have been able to create intelligent and meaningful additions to a known product.
“The result is something we are not only proud of, but proud to call ‘Made in Australia’.
“We also have the flexibility to add even more changes as customers request and this is the subject of ongoing research and development at PJL Group.”
Dean outlined the six main advantages of the series as:
• Pricing – Less Capital Expenditure required.
• Chassis up rebuild in Australia for Australian Mining Customers.
• Modifications designed to enhance reliability and functionality.
• Full back-up from PJL industry professionals.
• Hosing, electrical and mechanical upgrades to suit Australian conditions.
• No large changes to inventory or training.
“Forensic style planning, and the consequential learning process, have allowed PJL Group to evolve both product and process to the highest levels,” Dean continued.
“Production of the Signature Series loaders is due to ramp up in Q1 of 2018 which is ideal timing in view of the recent overall optimistic view in the mining industry.”
