PJL Group’s Dave Harris and Jo Quinn took to the road travelling 15,000km as part of PJL’s Beakon implementation project recently.

The pair flew and drove across the country visiting Perth, Mt Isa, Cobar and Parkes to provide on the job training to more than 70 PJL Group Foreman, Supervisors, Managers and Administration personnel.

“Beakon is a cloud based platform which will help PJL Group manage the safety, training and compliance of all of our employees, subcontractors and visitors with a Learning Management System (LMS),” Jo explained. 

“Beakon will manage everything from online visitor induction to company-wide training package deployment. Users can track progress and identify training gaps in real time.

“It has the ability to deliver, log, and manage training to staff and contractors anywhere (face-to-face or distance learning) and allows tracking of inductions, audits, workplace health and safety compliance and training needs in one place on one platform.

“Beakon also provides a storage platform for all PJL forms, documents, templates, and records and incorporates an incident / QNCR reporting management system.”
